Work & Play

Today - yes, on a Sunday - I got up at 6 a.m. I was at work by 7. Today was commencement for WWU, and it's my job to work the information booth. So I spent my morning pointing out where the bathrooms are, handing out programs, telling people where the graduates would march in and out, and chatting with people I hadn't seen in a while. I also got a little wet. It rained all morning.

The great thing was that Alex graduated! YAY!!! So his and Britt's families were in town, and we had a big celebration after the ceremony, complete with chips, veggies, fruit, burgers, and cake. Above is a shot of the action as the meal was prepared for us to enjoy.

After the party, Jason and I fulfilled a promise to Ruth and accompanied her to Tri-Cities. We went to Burlington Coat Factory, the mall, Red Robin, and Target before heading home. I've got one more picture for you from today...it made me laugh heartily when I saw it and I had to take a picture. Compliments of Burlington Coat Factory, I give you your laugh of the week:
