This afternoon Jason went to Portland with the steel drums. He's not officially in the group, but their bass player backed out on them and they asked Jason to fill in. He's on his way back tonight, and I have to drive back into CP to pick him up at some ungodly hour. To entertain myself in his absence, I got together with a friend of mine who is also pregnant. Her husband was out of town due to music tour, as well, so it was quite convenient. She suggested dinner and a movie, and that's precisely what we did. We had red potatoes with celery and onions (delicious), and then we watched "Lost in Austen," which was a "take a chance" rental, but turned out to be quite good.
Damie's two cats, Molly and Noreen, are quite entertaining. At first Noreen ran away from me and avoided coming into contact with me...but wouldn't totally go away. He was too curious about me. Molly was friendly from the get-go. This is Molly in the photo...being friendly.
