While we were out doing some shopping and errand-running today, we stopped downtown to check out a women's and children's consignment shop called "Hidden Treasures." As we were getting out of the car, we heard a loud car horn honking at the intersection behind us. Turning, we saw bottles of Coca Cola and Sprite all over the intersection. Apparently a Coke truck had hit a bump and lost a case of pop bottles. Several people ran to help get the hazards out of the road, and within 3 minutes the driver returned to collect the damage. It was quite amusing to watch.

Oops!

ReplyDeleteWhat was really neat is that everyone rushed to help but it didn't appear that anyone took any for themselves! And the truck driver was very grateful to everyone and kept saying "thank you".
