The Day Before

Today Ruth and Jason and I decided to go to Black Cup to celebrate the REAL last day before baby. Unfortunately I locked my keys in my office and couldn't leave until someone let me back in to get them, so they went without me. They were kind enough to purchase my Italian cream soda for me - Raspberry Vanilla. Yum! Then we chatted for a few minutes before we all went back to work. (Yes, I went to work the day before being induced. What else was I supposed to do - sit around and be bored at home alone?)

I did, however, take the afternoon off. I went home and relaxed on the couch for a couple of hours, then went to the hospital to visit Jacob and Merrie Beth...and CHLOE!!!! She was over 8 pounds and was delivered by C-section at 7:39 this morning. So exciting! They'll most likely still be recovering when we're there greeting Little Miss, so we'll have some people to say hello to down the hall. Congratulations, Mom & Dad!!!

Tonight I decided spur of the moment to call up a couple of pregnant friends for a "going through some hand-me-downs" party. We had carrots, peanuts, cookies, and juice, and went through quite a pile of clothes, as you can see below. (And that's not all of them.) I'd gotten them from a couple of friends whose little girls had outgrown their clothes, and they were passing on the wealth. It was so much fun! Here we are chatting after finishing going through the stacks.

And here we are, lined up in order of due date (and almost height, actually):

Me (July 26)
Cas (September 30)
Damie (November...1?)
Adina (November 13)
