This is Alasdair. He's a colleague and friend of mine who also works in the communication sector. Several months ago in the course of an email conversation about work, we discovered that his wife was due with their first child only two days after I was due with ours! Then we found out that they were also having a girl, and had chosen the same hospital we had. We exchanged emails every week to check on each other and how things were going. Today, July 14, at 11:05 p.m., little Alexandra was born to pleased parents Alasdair and Holly. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 0.5 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Mom, Baby, and Dad are doing fine.
