At the Market

The supermarket that is. Ya know, I'd never actually considered the origins of that word before, but it makes sense now that I think about it. At any rate, Jason and I went grocery shopping tonight. Going on a week night is not the best idea when you have a little one with you. I say this because she still has to eat on a schedule, and when you leave the house for an hour in the evenings after a somewhat late dinner, it sometimes messes that up. We survived, though. I just love the rows and rows of vegetables stacked high. This is my favourite section of the grocery store. One thing of note about our grocery store: There are two resident sparrows that dart around overhead while you're shopping.

  1. I should take a picture inside a grocery store here. Wow. Talk about not a lot of room to move around...Lol.

  2. I like the picture. The produce department is fun. I like to pick out what looks good, is priced fairly, and then buy some and then figure out what to make with it. (Like when they had cabbage for 19 cents a pound and I bought two big heads that weighed over 5 pounds each--that is LOTS of cabbage!)

Thanks for stopping by, and thanks, too, for leaving some thoughts!
